Our good Arla Ko® Svecia is a full-bodied, creamy and mildly sour cheese, the texture is creamy and smooth. Svecia is perfect as a side dish or in cooking. The cheese dates from the 13th century and the name comes from Latin Suecia which means Sweden. In accordance with directives from the EU, Svecia cheese may only be produced in Sweden, from Swedish milk and according to a traditional recipe. Our Arla Ko® Svecia is made at Kalmar dairy on fresh milk from Öland and Småland. The Arla Ko® brand guarantees that the cheese is made from 100 percent Swedish milk.
