To this bread we have once again taken inspiration from Land Alice Gustafsson and her living pasture Skallskog. She grew up in the Farmyard where crispbread baking was part of everyday life. After many years as a baker with us at Leksand's crispbread, Alice has now retired to her childhood pasture where she continues to bake her crispbread.
Fäbodknäcke sourdough is a luxurious, dark, rich and robust crispbread that fits just as well on the everyday table as to a party. In addition to sourdough, there is malt and flaxseed which gives that little extra chewing resistance.
A bit crunchier and a little thinner with a lovely home-made taste.
