ICA Skånerost whole beans is a classic Skånerost, made from selected Arabica beans that have been roasted for an extra long time to bring out the distinctive character of Skånerost. The coffee is full-bodied with a clear body, some roughness and a long aftertaste with spicy notes of licorice and dark chocolate. The fact that Skåne is associated with darker coffee is due to the hard water in southern Sweden, which has traditionally required a harder roasting for the coffee flavors to emerge.
