Västerbottensost® is a granular hard cheese made from northern cow's milk, it has a characteristic, full-bodied taste and a shelf life of at least 14 months. The cheese can also have hints of small crystals, fantastically nice and shows the cheese's long shelf life. The piece is borderless - ready to serve! Feel free to try the cheese plate together with a cloudberry chutney or other slightly sweeter jam. The cheese has been made since 1872 and since 1990 is Västerbottensost® Royal Court Supplier and has been served at many royal events and the Nobel dinner. Västerbottensost® is simply a unique piece of Swedish food history.
