With Sugar Fondant (or sugar pulp as it is also called) you take the decoration of pastries to the next level!
Use the sugar pulp to shape shapes to decorate cakes and cupcakes. Only your imagination can set boundaries. Sugar pulp can also be rolled out to tear caps. Knead the pulp softly with your hands and then roll the sugar pulp between two icing powdered baking sheets. The cake lid then loosens easily and becomes easier to assemble. Spread a layer of jam or cream on the cake before you put on the cake lid, then the sugar pulp will stick better. Tip: If you brush the cake lid with a little oil on the underside, before you put it on your cake, it will protect your cake lid from the moisture from your cake filling. A packaging Dr. Oetker Sugar Fondant contains 250 grams. To make a cake lid a normal sized cake, 250-400 grams of sugar pulp is recommended.
